That's a great review.

These people are my contemporaries. In 1969 I was in the last year of college. It was all around me, the protests. I agreed with the spirit of them, even with the actions of some. A few of the leaders--Hayden and Abby Hoffman--struck me as flamboyant grandstanders who wanted the spotlight. What they did, did made a difference. Without that grandstanding, all that noise making, maybe the war would have dragged on.

However, because of the riots, I'm sure, Richard Nixon was elected. You never know about unintended consequences. Nixon in many ways changed the course of history, and not in a good way. He was the one, for example who began the War on Drugs, which led to the incarceration of many thousands of noncriminals.

It sounds like a great movie, a slice of history, but since I lived it I've no interest in seeing someone else's interpretation of what happened. I know what happened. Maybe in another ten years (I won't be here!) I'll be ready for this. I doubt it.

I hope others read this review and watch the movie, others who weren't there.

😂😂😂 I forget, some extra probably played you in the movie.
I do hear it's historically accurate and it is quite a show.

I wasn't there so I guess I must learn about it anyway I can.

How have you been recently my dear elderly friend?

We are dealing with age-related issues right now, but we are all in good cheer.
