I think your predictions might have been different had you written them today, the day after the U. S. attacked Venezuela and brought about regime change. Well, not quite regime change, but steps toward that.
Interesting times, aren't these?
How will this affect your predictions of the markets? Certainly Maduro fell, as you predicted, but perhaps not in the way you anticipated.
I hope you are right about Hive.
One thing for sure, I agree about working toward making this, Hive, a platform where discussion is possible and civil disagreement tolerated.

Yes, I did not expect that the US would be that active in the fall of the regime.
The US did not attack Venezuela though, quite the opposite. The US attacked the usurper and mass murderer Maduro, captured him and freed Venezuela.
These are indeed interesting times.
Concerning repercussions for world politics and markets, I will write a new post.
