While I agree with You on the idea that Some have "authority" over Others who do not consent, fully informed, I use Natural Law, and the only Laws there are, derived from "do no harm."  I have no religion, but and surely an Ethical One.

Everything in the legal(/governmafia) mess is a legalate.  The Laws of Ethics stand above them all.

I guess it depends how we are defining "authority" and it's depending on that notion on how I agree with some people having authority while simultaneously no one does.

In the sense, for example, in blue collar fields, it is natural for people to look towards those with most experience as ones with "authority" because they are most capable of understanding what is going on and what needs to happen. But I disagree in the terms of authority when it means the moral right to rule others. Certainly almost all people can use force to make someone do what they want in one form another but just because we can doesn't mean we should. Nor does it mean that just because we can and that some do, make it justified or legitimate.

"Authority" as I approach it is what the Ones in the legal/governmafia mess think They have over the rest of Us.

Yes, One can say someOne with experience has "authority," but that is not forcing things upon Others whether They consent or not.  And I would call it "expertise," not "authority."  One is free to ignore anOther's expertise...

And money allows Some to pay Others to en*force "authority."  That is never legitimate.

Most welcome!
