That’s a heavy take, and I totally get where you’re coming from. It’s honestly a bit rattling how much weight a leader’s words carry when things feel this shaky on a global scale. At the end of the day, words can either glue us together or pull us apart.
Some folks argue that in a world full of 'big players' with expansionist vibes, playing nice isn't always enough. It’s that classic "peace through strength" mindset—the idea that you need a solid backbone to keep others from overstepping.
Even if we don't see eye-to-eye on Trump’s style or the whole military side of things, I think we’re both on the same page: "we just want the chaos to stop and some stability to kick in". Maybe the real answer is somewhere in the middle. Anyway, props to you for keeping the dialogue open. We definitely need more of this.

I think what many miss on the "peace through strength" is the underlying motto attached to it. That is "no empathy". That would entail, once started, there's no turning back, there's no empathy that can be attached. What happens, happens, it's a deal with it situation regardless of who gets hurt.
