That piece on buying a golden visa with crypto stood out. Fun idea, but imagine telling border control your seed phrase is your passport. The real friction is KYC, source of funds and policy flips when a new cabinet shows up. Of the four, which one looks most stable to you, or is this just a shiny brochure?

Makes sense. It does open Schengen doors, but the shine’s faded with NHR changes and golden visa cuts. Is it the taxes and hoops, or just not worth the life upheaval right now?
More close to home. My wife wants to be close to kids and potential grandkids, so not open to becoming an expat.
Totally fair. Being close to your people beats any golden visa. Do you still keep a plan B like a residency you’d likely never use, or would you rather put that energy into making the home base even better? If slow travel’s still fun, where would you spend a month just for the experience?
