Safaa Syria: They Sold the Golan for a Forged Certificate, and Called It Peace

There's a piece up on Syria News right now I'm not going to soften for you, because Safaa Syria didn't write it soft.

The short version: Israel now holds open recognition over the Golan Heights, signed off quietly on the margins of a NATO summit by the US president, and what Syria got in return was a letter from the degenerate Trump promising to remove Syria from a terrorism list it's been stuck on since 1979. A strategic illegally occupied plateau traded for a piece of paper that whitewashes al Qaeda commanders to help them raise money from foreign investments!

Safaa, then, describes the last nineteen months under al Qaeda HTS: wages that only rose after tens of thousands of minority workers were fired from the public workforce, electricity that exists now at much higher prices, farmland torched by the hundreds of hectares while bread gets imported at a markup, oil fields nationalized while citizens still pay full world price to fill a tank. and the ten terrorist explosions in Damascus in a single week, one close enough to reach Macron while he was in town shaking the hand of the man now running the country.
