Stefan Heuer's Latest: Versailles to Damascus – A Parallel of Profound Betrayal
As the ordinary and sophisticated Syrians mourn the first anniversary of their country falling into the hands of the Israel-controlled US-led NATO 'defensive' alliance's terrorists of Al Qaeda HTS; prominent German historian and political analyst Stefan H. Heuer compares the events that led to the fall of Syria to those that led to fall of Germany a century ago, even though both countries were winning on the battle fields against the world's evil powers.
Mr. Heuer draws a clear historical parallel, arguing that the events leading to the fall of Damascus in December 2024 share the same root cause as the infamous 1919 Treaty of Versailles against Germany.
In his letter addressed to yours truly, Arabi Souri, the editor of Syria News, Mr. Heuer challenges the mainstream media and Western narrative in both incidents. His article is undiplomatic, exposing what Heuer calls the criminality of Western policies and politicians.
