Okay imma be doing a sermon today. I'm fed up with the amount of complaints people are posting online so I'll complain too. What, you thought I can't just because I'm a practicing Catholic?! hahaha.

What are the issues I will discuss in this rant post of mine?

• Government corruption
• Premarital Sex crybabies
• Filipinos' indifference to their own religion
• Churchgoer but not even holy!

No One Prays But Then Keeps Complaining About the Rotten System

Oh, I've seen something again. All corruption scandals in the government seems to be coming out.

We know that this has been the trend in the government for a long time. And yet no one is taking action to change it. You are still voting for corrupt people and scoundrels. BBM won as president and you want change? Really?

We already know this has been the trend yet we still do not pray for the conversion of sinners until now! Why? As long as there are only a few people praying for the conversion of sinners here in the Philippines (and the world!), do not expect life in our country to improve. If you and I cannot change ourselves, how can we expect to change other people? Are you for real?

Several decades and a century have passed, the trend of our government is getting worse, why are we still not praying and asking God to change us sinners? NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE WITH GOD. He can stop storms, He can multiply food, He can even raise the dead, so what more if He changes us? He can also change our hearts if we pray for it!!!

Let's pray at least one Hail Mary or Our Father everyday for the conversion of sinners. One prayer takes less than a minute. It's very easy to do, right? If you think that's easy, make it three: Our Father, Hail Mary and Glory Be. If you want, do a full rosary! Come on let's pray! !🙏

Some will say, "It's because of Catholicism that's why our culture is like this, rotten." Only fools say that. Why? Didn't Jesus Himself always criticize the Pharisees? Don't you know the teachings of Jesus? How then can you know the difference between them and the effect of Catholicism on us today? That's why I said only fools say that because that's the truth.

The reform of a nation starts with all of us. If we all follow the teachings of God, do you think there will still be such corrupt people in the government? If you have such a hard time changing yourself, how can you change other people?

Only God can help us change! Only His grace can help us all! Look at St. Paul, he changed completely! Saul suddenly changed from being a narrow-minded Pharisee who persecuted Christians and became a preacher of the Word of God! How did that happen?

They say, if St. Stephen did not pray, we would not have known St. Paul! Because of his prayer, God acted to help His apostles and disciples.

Do you think the Bible was just a bunch of made up stories? Those things happened back then, that's why people wrote and told stories. The Old Testament (Tanakh and other Jewish books) are a record of the distant past as proof of God's love and mercy plus the promise of redemption in the New Testament. And there is so much evidence today of what was written before that proves the truth of Christianity.

Again, if we do not pray for the conversion of sinners, do not expect any change to happen, it will only get worse. Do you want that? Then don't pray everyday.

Lots of Sex Before Marriage Then Crying About Problems Afterwards

I can't believe it's already necessary to post things like this because of the amount of premarital sex being done.

You're all out on sex because you "love" him/her and then when your partner cheats, you cry, or you threaten them so they don't break up with you. Then when you have children and your pseudo-spouse becomes a gambler or a drinker or a spendthrift, that's when you start complaining about life because it's already hard to work, hard to earn, and then your partner brings you problems. Or there's some domestic violence going on. Seriously? 😂 They haven't even gotten married yet but live the married life, and then they keep complaining when something happens in life because of the many sins they keep committing.

It's tiring to always read about the same sh*tty relationship problems like that. They all don't even pray and have no relationship with God.

Marriage exists so we can have a better family! It's so the husband and wife can help each other reach Heaven, not to pleasure themselves, be promiscuous and then get sick of life and each other to end up in Hell. Even if they eventually have children, they should also be led to get to Heaven. Ah, people's common sense is really in the ditches. 🤦‍♀️

Carlo Acutis was put out by it? Hah! I'm also put out with Filipino ignorance of Catholicism! I'm one of those who used to be so shtoopid when it comes to the teachings of the Church and God! 🙃 I studied in a Catholic high school but I never practiced anything afterwards except going to mass on Sundays! I only know how to pray when I need something then go to mass and take communion WITHOUT CONFESSING and repenting of my sins!!! 🤦‍♀️

Grew up Catholic yet had no idea about lots of teachings of the Church, whew. I actually knew more about occult, New Age, superstitions, etc.. 🙃

It's irritating that no one even told me anything much about Catholicism, even I myself, my family, relatives, coworkers or friends. There was only one friend/coworker then the other was a Protestant but that's it. Only two people in my entire life before 2023 after high school! What are we doing that we're not talking about God with other people?

I even had a family member who went to seminary in the hopes he would become a priest and an uncle who also went to seminary but they never taught a single thing!!! Again, why are we not talking about God with other people?

There's so much information online but I didn't care and didn't even know even a little about my own religion before 2023. 😂 How are we going to get to Heaven then? We want to enter Heaven but we aren't doing anything to save our soul. Seriously?!? Not even reading the Bible, wow.

Even if you go to mass every Sunday and get there late to think about what to eat after mass and chat during the 1st & 2nd reading and then fall asleep every homily, you really won't absorb anything if you're full of sin especially because you didn't prepare beforehand. Speaking from experience, I used to be like that and I know that very well. Although I mostly go to church alone because what does my family care about going to church together? 😂 That's not how it goes. And THIS IS HAPPENING EVEN UNTIL NOW. When your family is broken, it's harder to fix it so don't destroy it no matter what!

I want to add more but I'll just say goodbye because I might sin even more. Let's just pray so we can eventually all start living a new life here in the Philippines. 🙏 It's really upsetting and very disappointing. Whew.

Churchgoers Are Still Sinners!

So, what, you want a perfect Catholic? There are so many who go to church but have a bad attitude, right? That's why we go to church to be nicer. What about those who don't go to church? 😂 Such people think they are good but they are even worse. Whew.

Without the grace of God, do you think there would still be good people in the world? 😂 If there were no one praying and going to church so that other people could have grace, do you think life in the world would be good? Again, ignorance of Catholicism is not bliss. Ignorance of what Jesus taught is not bliss.

Do you think 10 or so years of education in Catholic elementary and high schools is enough? BIG NO! That's just basic, not even the smallest part of what we should know and can do! If that was enough, why do you think life in the Philippines is like this now?

Many people go to church because it's a habit but they don't think about changing & have no intention of repenting of their sins. I was like that for a long time too.

Well, of course it's hard to change your life, especially if you don't confess sins. That's why it's important to pray then read an Examination of Conscience before confessing, repent of your sins, and decide not to do it again. Slowly but surely is the key! 💪 We won't be an instant saint, especially if you don't want to confess.

What, are we like St. Paul to change our lives in just 3 days until forever? 😂 Do you want to be a saint right away? Does it happen in an instant? JESUS ​​WAS FIRST CONCEIVED BECAME A BABY AND WAS BORN, AND IT TOOK 33 YEARS BEFORE HE WAS RESURRECTED and you want people to be a saint right away? Really?

It's so much better if we go to the "hospital" everyday after we confess so that the Lord can heal us!

What about those who don't go to church and don't want God, their life is full of sh*t because they don't allow God to heal them. Been there, done that.

Remember, Jesus' Way is the Best! No matter what you do in your life, nothing can defeat God and His teachings. The Lord is our protector against demons and our evil inclinations. If we keep on sinning mortally, it means you have long since removed the protection of God in your life. So don't cry if you have so many problems all the time because that is your choice. You wanted it.
