Economy And Holidays: Why Does A Government Need Balance between them?
Hello Hive Learners Community! Welcome to my blog. Holidays provide us with opportunities to enjoy life freely from our busy routines. I love and like them because they always help me to relax my mind. In these days, I love to do creative things or like to spend my whole time with my family in Tourism or Shopping. Same routine feel us like boredom and our mind didn't find enough energy to think beyond boundaries. On Holidays as we are relax, we do whatever we like.
Should Holidays Be Increased?
In my country, we have 40 leaves per year. Out of 40, 17 leaves are compulsory and others are optional. On many occasions, I feel frustrated and want to have government leave. Every year, each government introduces new leave schedule. On Many Islamic Events, we have leaves but there are some events that deserve to be considered as holidays.
Holidays indeed impacts economy but it strengthen humanity. Especially labourer work is very tough and we have to introduce special leave schedule for them. This year, I didn't find leaves on the birthday of Jinnah(Founder of Pakistan). Similarly, we didn't have leave on 27th Rajab(An Auspicious Event when Last Prophet Muhammad SAW met Allah). These events deserve leaves but unfortunately we didn't have any leave.
When you are working in Pakistani Industry, you can only enjoy Sunday as weekend. It is also frustrating. There should be leave on Friday, Saturday & Sunday. These days should be reserved for relaxing mind and work burden should be divided on other days. It is very possible but our government didn't have any policies.
Work, work and More Work make us tired and sick. More Holidays can bring Peace in many lives. Moreover, Government should make policies to take action against industries and companies that engaged their Labour on Public Holidays as well. I have witnessed people are forced to work on these days even without a salary. Hence, Government should revise their policies regarding Yearly Leaves and improve leave structure.
Final Thoughts
If we take advice from Labour Department about Holidays, beleive me they will request to enjoy 3 days leave in a week. Absolutely, it will harm a country economy a lot. Every country needs to revise it's leave structure that will balance between people's demands and a country requirement. I have met people who are working and are unstoppable. Continuous work will make us tired and fatigued instead of healthy. We need to take rest whenever our body needs. We are not machine and there is no need to behave like robots. Our Government is good in managing leaves but it should improve and add fourteen to fifteen more leaves. At least out of 12 months one month will be reserved for Public leaves. Independent of religion, if people have any special event then companies and industries should relax them with leaves. Being a small business man, I consider leaves as management. If we can manage our work then we can enjoy more relax time and leaves. This is what I think about leaves.

Good point dear friend. Laborer work is very tough and yet not well paid. Even with many holidays, we still suffer since pay 💰 is low to enjoy many of these days of work
And with Labour department, more days can be gotten as holidays which will hinder economy. What we actually need is a work balance regulation for citizens where you get enough leave to rest the body for good health and at the sane time incentives to take care of the body.
