i disagree. UK is not a Democracy. Not a real Democracy, therefore NOT the majority of people. If a real democracy was used, a very well designed Anonymous Decentralised Fractal Democracy, i'm sure it would be different

Under that definition, there are no democracies in the world. @dan's More Equal Animals is the best book I have seen in modern times about governance. I want to see that happen on a large scale globally.

This is very much like i want to create. Fractally has evolved to Fractal Democracy DAO's on Optimism. https://optimismfractal.com
They use Hat's Protocol for DID's & Reputation too i think.

The system i have in mind has some differences & refinements in several ways. Anonymity being the most important. Optimism Fractals DAOs are NOT anonymous.

Would you like to dive deeper with me?

I don't think I will be able to find time to be very active. I will keep an eye on the project. Wish it success! We need these experiments to test out our ideas as these systems have no equivalents in the known past.

And yes, i agree, it's a very insightful book. in one of the fractally meetings i attended i asked Dan about lack of anonymity, but i wasn't able to get across to him the critical importance of anonymity.

The DID's, or Aninymous Proof of Unique Human Identity is a vital component to prevent socks and bot's. i have a multi-pronged approach for that, possibly including GitCoin & Hats ID's and a web of Trust, and more. New members would would need to pass various knowledge tests & get to a certain level of ID verification, giving access to governance participation to some extent, increasing over time & knowledge tests etc.

DID and privacy is not an easy problem to solve. It may even take several iterations to get things right. What is important is that there are people testing things out for real.
