Indeed it look lost and it is lost from my point of view, both domestically and internationally. Yet, he has more than 52% support. I don't see that is changing.

He once said;

"I could stand in the middle of Fifth Avenue and shoot somebody, and I wouldn't lose any voters, OK?

It is a direct quote, I fact checked and verified this statement in 2016. We laughed at it at the time. I believe it now. You better do the same.

Of course! I laugh at the memes from the war showing MAGA supporters really believing that the US already won the war or any other S*** statements. You can especulate bad education system? Not sure. Maybe? But what matters is that people are lazy right now, and they don't do what you did. They get a statement made by their politician or influencer from social media and just accept that as true.
And that happens for MAGA supporters or also for leftists.
There is an interesting story that came and I fact check and it is true,th and it is a silly story because there isn't a clear impact on our lives, different from the next country president.
About the soccer player Lionel Messi being autistic or not. In Brazil, at least,t if you ask anyone,ne they would say that Messi is diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, a fake news story that started in 2013. And at that time there were fewer influencers than nowadays. But it is fun to read about the story of this statement that causes impact even nowadays.

Yes, there are numerous such example today.

Trump has his playbook: deny, defame, discredit. Never admit, never concede, never retreat. Always appeal. Right after his criminal conviction verdict, Trump posted that the court proceedings were a “disgrace” and a “witch-hunt” .. you know the rest of the story. Not only he himself, but his extended family, friends, the people he likes...they are all above the law...forever!

Trump is a master of that. Rest of the known world is now following his playbook.

Yes, I am totally aware.
The problem is: what can we do? We can post about it, and some people will agree, but the majority will stay within the lines, pushing the vote button again, as always. I heard about Republican supporters who are tired of Trump, like many Democratic Party supporters who are tired of the current situation of the party. In the end, people just vote for the one that they hate less, and you in the US, me in Canada, stay in the same shitty hole.
Maybe when our kids are grown, they will see a different scenario who knows? Maybe they will see some of these actors paying for what they did.

All we can do is: Protect the vulnerable and speak the truth.

I can speak about myself. I am an immigrant in this country. I am educated here in the bible belt. I am rich and I am self made. I also have political and social resources that many common American do not have. So it is my job to protect as many as I can. It is my responsibility to stonewall the processes at all domestic level.

One person at a time.

Also I have a lot of patience.
