it does seem a bit suspicious that anyone would oppose this. The grounds for opposition are just insane. It's racist to demand ID... gtfoh

You have to ask why is it racist to ask for ID when it should be a basic requirement to prove you are who you are and not cheating the vote count. Here in SA they take our fingerprints and cross reference our ID because otherwise we would have voter fraud. No one questions this as it is commonsense and is the only way to make it fair. I do think the race card has been over used and people have woken up as the ones saying it is racist are the only ones saying this. There is no real argument against noy using ID's and this is such a lame reason.
