It's hard to trust anyone or anything these days, don't you think? Due to the increasing lies of big tech, media, and government, the people's confidence in authority is at an all-time low.

The ongoing fiasco surrounding the recent assassination attempt on Donald Trump really brings into focus the insanity and tangled web of lies we have been living in recent years.

How did we get to this point, and why are we putting up with it?

Bribery

Imagine a world where the stock market only goes up, your home is always worth more the next year, and your retirement plan constantly grows in value.

What better way to keep the people sedated and compliant than via the "wealth effect"?

In this new world, corporations are always bailed out of financial trouble, so long as they fall in line with any "progressive" new policies.

The economic recessions of yesteryear have essentially been outlawed, and the lender of last resort is always there to save you, so long as you bend the knee.

But you knew that the constant bailouts were unsustainable, and that a reset was on the way...

The Virus

You wake up one day to videos on social media of citywide lockdowns, people dying suddenly on the street, and being locked away in their apartments by their neighbors.

Some social media accounts present evidence the virus came from a lab, which seems plausible to you, but those accounts are quickly suspended as "misinformation".

Only until several months later do social distancing and lockdowns become necessary in your country. However, they assure you that there will be no mask or vaccine mandates.

The "Cure"

You know that vaccines are normally tested for years before being made available to the public, and that a vaccine for this particular type of a virus had never been developed.

They start telling you that the unvaccinated are putting the vaccinated at risk, and make the shots mandatory. At this point you start questioning your own sanity.

You start hearing reports on social media that people are suffering serious injuries from the "vaccine", only to see those accounts suspended days later.

Gender Madness

You meet a high school teacher in the park one day, and he tells you that starting this year, he must ask each student what their "pronouns" are at the start of class.

You read online that a local man has been imprisoned for trying to prevent his 14-year-old daughter from taking "puberty blockers" and mutilating her own body.

You learn that schools no longer have to notify you if your child is "gender confused", and can seek "treatment" directly from the staff. Opposing this makes you "transphobic".

Migration Mayhem

You arrive at the airport for your domestic flight where you are heavily frisked by the TSA. Meanwhile the illegal migrant at the southern border gets a high five, a 5-star hotel room, and a free credit card.

You suddenly realize that millions and millions of unchecked migrants are pouring into the country, with no prior public debate or discussion. You start to worry about the safety of your own children.

Absurd Leadership

You realize that the "leader of the free world" is in serious cognitive decline and cannot string together a coherent sentence. You are perplexed why so many leadership positions are being filled with obviously incompetent people.

To top it off, they gaslight you into believing these videos are deep fakes.

I can only surmise that the elite are hoping we lose all faith in the existing government and media so that we will more readily welcome in a new system.

Who To Trust

The people's confidence in the media, the government, and its agencies is at an all-time low thanks to the ever expanding web of lies and insanity.

What will people do in a world devoid of trust?

They will seek out trustless systems. Databases that cannot be altered. A truth that cannot be manipulated.

This is the promise of web3 and decentralized cryptocurrencies. It is where a growing number of people will start placing their confidence in the coming years.
