It's the Fourth of July! This year the United States is celebrating 250 years after the signing of the Declaration of Independence. The official name is the Semiquincentennial.
Fireworks will fill the skies across the nation.
The @buynburn account uses its precious HIVE to buy and burn HIVE Engine tokens.
Most fireworks displays are well regulated, but for this July 4th, I decided to create a #meme image of a fireworks display that got out of hand and turned into an inferno.
I will burn 8K MEME worth about $0.20. Yes, the size of the burn is determined by the upvotes I get on my posts. My wallet shows I have about $0.96 in tokens for future burns.

Thanks for burning some MEME tokens. Many hive-engine tokens have insanely large numbers of tokens or potential tokens. I like it when some go away permanently.

I am really surprised that people aren't making better use of the NFT feature on hiveme.me.
It is super easy to create a unique meme these days. Minting an NFT costs only 600 MEME plus 100 MEME per edition. I think minting 4 nfts is a sweet spot.
Maybe I'll mint some NFTs and tie them in at @pepegame somehow.
Or @tokenfaucet. Get an extra bonus percentage of what token it chose to give you, if you hold an NFT.
Lots can be done to incentivize holding NFTs.
