RE: How do Chiang Mai locals feel about the battles between Cambodia and Thailand?

I have seen the news about the conflict. Honestly, when I first read it online, my first thought was why they couldn't come up with an agreement where both parties win instead of pointing fingers at whose at fault or who needs to back down. Well, this is how the government plays. Just praying that everything will be settled down quickly without thousands of citizens from both countries affected.
