RE: Did American Eagle create this "controversy" to drive sales?

People are talking about this so whoever is responsible for this viral American Eagle hitting social media will be a success. I buy a certain brand of jeans now because they fit properly and are comfortable. This is unlike me as like you would buy the cheapest jeans available if they looked alright. I would say American Jeans is behind this as they wanted to make waves and what better way than upsetting the woke. Jeans are American and people care about their country and image because it is history and iconic.
