RE: Another failed government project aimed at tourism

Terrible when there is no logic or common sense used in these so called great ideas. Tourists tend to dodge this type of crap anyway and is just unnecessary as there is enough stuff to see and do already. ever thought of places with direct international flights being the easy option, but makes perfect sense why these places are much busier as a tourist destination.

the other beach areas that are nearby are nicer than here by a lot but don't have the big city stuff... but since I live in a big city the absence of that doesn't bother me at all. It just takes so long to get to them is the only downside.

We used to travel to Cape Point Nature Reserve ad it was super quiet, but was an hours drive to get there. We stopped going there due to the high number of shark attacks eve though it was a stunning beach. Only beach I knew where you could sit on a golden sea bed and see 100 meters all around you.

that sounds like it could be great, if you have a car and can bring a bunch of stuff with you. I could do without the sharks of course. You wont see me in any water that has this as a potential hazard.

The sharks are a hazard for sure and why you have to have 2 of you looking out for each other.
