I think it is just a touristy thing to do and try it once. Kind of agree with you on this, but honestly they will not phase these out any time soon.

They can't just come along and tell people that they can't make money the same way that they have been making money for their entire lives. If they truly want to phase it out, the government is going to have to help out financially with the transition.
