She is definitely an asset to Thailand as she sounds as though they kind of need her services. Like you I hope she does get this because she definitely deserves this. Others have zero chance id she does not qualify.

it's just them being stubborn. I don't think the girl wants exclusive citizenship, she wants additional citizenship. I know a lot of people that would like to have a Thai passport, but not if it all of a sudden became their only passports since it has very little weight and value on an international scale.
