Israel, the Mystery of the Death of Minister Orit Strook’s Daughter, Shoshana: She Accused Her Whole Family of Ritual Abuse and Violence

Today I was scrolling through the news as usual and I read the story of Shoshana Strook, 34 years old, not a common woman but the daughter of the Israeli minister Orit Strook which had shared videos and testimonies accusing her own family of abuses and that recently was shouting her fear for her safety.

It all started a few months ago when she made direct accusations against her own family, describing abuses that went on over time since her childhood, with manipulation, drugs, even hypnosis and in the end a threat for her life if she didn't keep the silence... What gave me chills is that she claimed to have been taken to pedophile ceremonies from the age of two and to have been sexually exploited by her father starting at thirteen...

Following these accusations the Lahav 433 investigative unit opened a case file, but the ostracism made it almost impossible to verify anything, and everything came to a halt. Now Shoshana has been found dead in Moshav Amirim, and early reports suggest a voluntary act, but her death seems too much conevenient for some people and reports can be falsified, scenes can be altered as we all know...

I think that once again in the so called 'free world' a woman who reports systematic abuse is ignored, eventually silenced, and the lack of a response or support from institutions only amplifies the injustice, even more so now that without an accusation and without a witness, most likely everything will be closed without further investigations
