How many witnesses live in the US or in a country that is very worryingly starting to embrace Nationalism? Using Hive as a way to publish abuses and news is a fantastic idea, but I'm sure that would make US based witnesses a target for Trump.

That is a potential issue. I don't know what the liability issues are for witnesses or where is considered safe these days.
