I mean no disrespect, but I struggle to see the point in poring over news reports and attempting to piece it all together. It’s not as though we have any control, or could ever hope to fathom the workings of psychopathic minds And don't we already know the outcome? A vast accumulation of wealth for the warmongers at the expense of ordinary people. If I thought knowing every detail would change anything, I'd give up horticulture and chicken-tending, live on takeaways and devour news 24/7:)

Every now and tne I have to pull a lever and vote for someone. Every now and then I express an opinion. I'd like to understand the positions of the people I vote for, and don't vote for. When I speak, I'd like not to be a dupe.
There is a state observed across the animal kingdom of learned helplessness. The individual creature is so accustomed to pain and disappointment, that all hope is lost. The individual becomes immobile and passive--devoid of resistance. I'm not there yet :))

As for learned helplessness, sometimes you really are powerless, and it’s better to see that than to keep battering yourself against a brick wall.
And every now and then, resistance means refusing to play the game at all.
I don't think that will work for me. That's what a lot of people in this country do. Then the monsters take over. Somebody has to speak up. Somebody has to resist. If I didn't I think I'd choke :))
