I think this is unfair. Foreigners who lived in Thailand also pay taxes and help the economy. This could hurt Thailand's image and tourism more. Hoping there are better ways to help locals with out making others feel unwelcome.

I fear that Thailand will only change their ways once tourism drops significantly. The Chinese are a big part of the tourism market in Thailand and lately that nation has been deciding to vacation in Malaysia or Vietnam instead of coming here and honestly, I can't blame them.
