In South Korea they cover the political incidents by something “major” happening in k-pop.
The Eipstein case and also the Diddy one are so interesting, not with just what happened but how rich can change everything just with money. They know money talks and therefore aren’t scared. Trump being an elected felon says more than enough. I completely agree with you

We used to have those kinds of celebrity stories here in America too to distract us from the truth. Now things are so extreme and people are waking up on a larger scale so those kinds of "soft" smokescreens no longer work. Now the media reports on the next "crisis" — war, weather events, mass shootings, general crime, viruses, etc. to make people forget and move on.
I believe Diddy was running the same kind of leverage/blackmailing operation focusing on the entertainment world. The tell tale sign will be if he just gets a slap on the wrist later this summer when he goes before the judge for sentencing.
