the "justice" of most areas are political in nature these days I think. The reason why the really wealthy and political elites don't do anything about it is because they can use the manufactured rage of the working class to get votes and keep and expand their own power. I don't think that most or really any of them are interested in solving any of these problems.

we have a number of local elected officials that seem to just keep their position without most people even knowing that they have a job. I contemplated running for city council a few times in the past but know that the system is kind of rigged in their favor. They have convinced or paid a certain amount of people to turn up to vote for them even when I think most of the people in the community don't even have any idea that there is an election taking place. It's a small scale thing but I believe the people who have these jobs don't actually want the community to know that there is an election for their position.
