You can filter out all news about Trump if you want to
This is more of something that I find humorous that such a workaround exists rather than me actually suggesting that people do it but honestly, I don't think it would be a terrible idea for a lot of people.

How I feel about Trump personally isn't something I consider to be of any importance to anyone else. I do, however, know people on both sides that seem practically obsessed with either loving the guy and everything he does, or hating the guy and everything that he does. I don't think either of these people on the far sides of either side of the spectrum actually look at anything the guy says and does objectively.
Their obsession is fed by them choosing to look at media of a certain kind as well. If you want news praising the guy, it is very easy to find. If you want constant bombardment of being extremely upset with everything he says or does, that is even easier to find.
The problem with a majority of both of these sort of mostly opinionated "news" articles is that they are both designed to indoctrinate or trick you rather than to actually inform you of anything. Social media interpretations about policies and statements are even worse.
Some of the happiest people I know are apolitical and honestly, after the past 10 years or so I am thinking of checking out from the political sphere as well. Mostly I am just an outside observer that finds the reporting on anything political in nature to be completely absurd in how far they are willing to go to pull the wool over the eyes of their audience.
The other day I made a statement to a friend of mine that was more of a joke than anything when I said "you should install a filter on your browser that will block all news about Trump."
We laughed a little bit because this is a friend of mine that even though we don't align much on our political ideas, he is a reasonable person and an old friend. So out of curiosity we did a search to see if such a product exists and it turns out that it does.
I shouldn't be surprised by this since people will attempt to monetize almost anything these days.

There are multiple browser extensions that can completely block all news about Trump or basically anything else you don't want to see and I find it funny that one of them is called "Emoguard." We have monetized the notion of a "safe space."
Others are called Trump Filter and Trump Blocker that are Trump-specific and will block all images and headlines that have Trump in them.
It is worth noting that these extensions are free for Linux or Windows specific devices but of course, you have to pay for them on anything made by Apple. What's the deal with Apple products anyway? I've never been a fan but the people I know that are Apple fans, seem to be seriously dedicated to it almost like they are in a cult.
Something else that I saw which is far more sensible in my mind rather than depending on a nanny-app or extension to "protect" you was to simply not click on these articles and over time, train the algorithms that you are not the kind of person that is interested in that sort of thing.
It's sad and hilarious to me that there is such a level of obsession over this guy that we have actually invented apps and browser extensions whose only reason for existing is to block information about this one person. I don't really look for things like this but I don't think that this has happened for a specific individual at any other point of time in history.
There's another app on iOS that is called "Trump Trump" and well, what a wonderful name for an app to protect the sensitive eyes and emotions of people using Apple. It has 5 stars but I have to say that I am quite happy that only a single person in the entire world has bothered to review it on the official Apple store. I wonder what that person's life is like?
