My Actifit Report Card: A journey through the government house
I decided to use Actifit for the first time and it was great. It was an early morning walk that lasted for over 2 hours.
I used actifit app and Samsung health app to get more information on my walk to share with you.
I timestamped the images to give a form of authenticity.
I walked past a car lot here. They are mostly foreign used and a bit of Nigerian used up for sale.

I encountered a closed road not for walkers but vehicles.
The government house and it was just renovated this year. The entrance is lovely
I met someone jogged past me. Rounding up at this time.
This is the information from Samsung health. The steps have different values, I guess this is due to calculation or the sensor. However, they showed information that the walking was a successful one

According to this. I walked a total of 10km. That's something. I feel refreshed and will try this daily.

Cool. You found Actifit. My favorite community for new users. Why? Well, walk 5000 steps, get a little exercise in and have the @actifit bot come around and upvote you every day. Sure it is only worth a couple of pennies but it increases your reputation bit by bit.
A couples notes from a long time Actifit user with a few hundred posts under his belt. Actifit is more rewarding if you burn AFIT tokens for a bigger @actifit upvote. So.... get used to using the Actifit marke4t to buy items which give you more AFIT tokens :)

And at the bottom of the wallet there is the option to burn your AFIT tokens for a bigger upvote. It is usually 1-2% upvote for 5000 steps but you can get up to 25% upvote (worth about 2-3 Hive) if you burn 200 AFIT tokens.
And as a side note: You have to have 5000 AFIT tokens in order to be eligible to get AFIT tokens every day from your post. If you don't have 5000 AFIT tokens they are quite inexpensive to buy.... but if you don't know how to use the hive-engine to buy them yet... or don't have enough HIVE to buy them.... Let me know and I'll send some your way :)
Final note:
Awesome pictures (even if they show up sideways). But... having posted images for over two years... it gets harder and harder to find new places to take pictures of. So.... I tend to limit my images to 3-5 so that I have something new to show for the next day..and the next..and the next..and the next... (you get the idea).
Wow. This is awesome. This blockchain is a world on its own. I thought the actifit app is just a way to exercise and share information on the exercise.
I checked the hiveengine to purchase AFIT tokens and discovered I didn't have any HIVE. I had to go back to my wallet and click buy. It took me to an inaccessible website blocktrades.us. I had to click the market and it brought a sort of orderbook. I swapped few HBD for around 7 HIVE.
I went back to hiveengine and couldn't see the HIVE token. I needed to deposit (I think this is a good security feature). I got the AFIT tokens and it showed in my actifit wallet but on Hive Engine.
I transferred some to Actifit wallet and tried to exchange for vote boost. I needed to set fund password. I did that and also confirmed by sending 1 HIVE to Actifit. I was then able to use the vote feature.
I also tried the market and got the water bottle L1
I will activate it before taking a walk tomorrow.
I also understand the picture aspect. One will run out of pictures with that quantity especially if it's the same route everytime.

Please feel free to ask questions of me. I would have gladly given you the 5000 AFIT tokens rather than have you do the runaround to try and buy with credit card or sell of HBD for it. But here is the quick version. AFIT and other tokens (like GLD, LEO and many many others are on hive-engine NOT the main blockchain. That's important because if you want to get your money off of HIVE you are likely going to have to withdraw from Hive to Hive-engine, convert to swap.ltc, swap.btc, swap.doge or other and then withdraw to a ltc, btc, doge or other wallet on an exchange. Hive is working towards HBD sales (really cool, maybe you have in Nigeria but not here in Canada) and reloadable cards with HBD are awesome (again, not in Canada).... but Hive-engine is your friend for money transfers and tokens.
FYI @hiveabbyftp is me ... but I almost entirely use that as a curation account. This is my main activity and communication account :)
Hive is a challenging place to learn... honest... but please ask questions, I'm happy to answer as best I can. Who knows, maybe I can turn it into a Good Little Dragon post ;)
