Alec Flynn Wants A Remake Of The Movie "Logan's Run"

1. A War Of The Generations
As I was watching YouTube on my television set while I was eating dinner, I came across this one video by a YouTuber named Alec Flynn about how the Baby Boomer Generation has established what can be best described as a gerontocracy. At first, I found the video interesting. However, I did discover a few flaws in it here and there. Here is the video below.
Alec Flynn Accuses The Baby Boomers Of Controlling Everything In The U.S. And Ruining It For Every American
All right, Mr. Flynn. I completely get it. If Martin Shkreli were to buy out the companies that produce Viagra, Cialas, and Levitra and he were to jack up the price of each and every one of their products to $1,000 a pop, you wouldn't be able to stop laughing at all the old men throwing temper tantrums over it.
When I'm in a grocery store, I don't appreciate it whenever an old man nearly slams his grocery cart into me and neglects to say "Excuse me" as though he owns the entire place. Well, Mr. Flynn, if what you say is right, then he probably does own that entire place.
Mr. Flynn? I found many of the points that you made in your video to be interesting. Some of the most despotic, treacherous, and deceptive bosses that I have ever worked for throughout my life were baby boomers. I don't deny that I have had some very horrendous experiences with baby boomers in the work force, some leading to wrongful termination of employment.
When I lived in California, I met a whole host of baby boomers that acted cocky and entitled. I'm not saying that that same generation didn't pump out a number of bad apples. However, do I hate each and every baby boomer in the world? Of course, I don't. I've met some very decent and level-headed baby boomers throughout my life.
Furthermore, Mr. Flynn, you need to remember that many people in the younger generations are greatly to blame for giving these tyrannical baby boomers the power that you speak of. Look at Chris Hansen. He's a baby boomer, and most of his fanbase is from the Millennial Generation and Generation Z. He has made a living off of ruining other people's lives that he has entrapped in his online sex-sting operations.
Mr. Hansen continues to thrive on camera because of the attention he receives from the younger generations that have constantly idolized him as though he is some kind of living legend, even though he is nothing but a has-been journalist who will never see the prosperous days of his time on the "To Catch A Predator" series ever again. In twenty years, nobody will even remember him.
Dr. Park Elliot Dietz is a good example of an out-of-touch baby boomer insofar as he is a danger to humanity. Yet way too many young people here in the United States put him high up on a pedestal insofar as they have made him into an icon of American pop culture.
This same shyster is definitely someone who should be forced to retire from the mental-health profession, among other things. I could never be happy about his fate unless he were to be sent to prison to die there. He has become like a cult leader in the mental-health industry.
Mr. Flynn? If you believe that Dr. Phillip McGraw ("Dr. Phil") is an out-of-touch baby boomer, you will get no argument out of me. He once did a show in which he was bashing adults from the younger generations for living with their parents. He actually bragged that when he turned 18 years old, he was one to move out on his own and rent an apartment.
Well, Dr. Phil was 18 years old back in 1968 when apartment rentals were dirt cheap. Therefore, he could never understand what younger generations go through these days in dealing with a Catch-22 economy here in the United States. Dr. Phil did a YouTuber named Katie Joy Paulson dirty. Below is a video in which she talks about it.
Katie Joy Paulson Describes How Dr. Phil Raked Her And Others Over The Coals
Mr. Flynn? I see that you don't like President Donald J. Trump. I have no problem with him, although I never agreed with his Medicaid cuts in his Big, Beautiful Bill. Overall, I feel that he has done a much better job in the White House than Joe Biden ever did, and I'm not convinced that Kamala Harris would have made a better president than him. Of course, we all have our differing opinions about politics.
If you don't like President Trump, Mr. Flynn, nobody is forcing you to do so. Being able to vote for the candidate of your choice is what makes our nation unique. However, don't talk as though someone who is 55 years of age has one foot in the grave. I know a number of people who continue to have their groove by that age.
John Stamos is in his sixties, and he still has his boyish looks and natural hair color. Oprah Winfrey once said on one of her shows that in Japan, someone is considered to be a kid until they are 52 years of age.
2. Alec Flynn's Confusion About Generation X
The Pew Research Center claims that anyone born in 1964 is a product of the Baby Boomer Generation, whereas the United States Social Security Administration deems anyone born in 1964 to be the oldest member of Generation X. If you go surfing online, you'll notice that most people born in 1964 don't wish to be identified as baby boomers, because they cannot relate to baby boomers.
Anyhow, Alec Flynn, don't ever say that older Gen Xers have anything in common with baby boomers, because they don't. Many Gen Xers suffered physical abuse during their childhood at the hands of their parents. Many of them have had to struggle financially for years because of how the overly ambitious baby boomers drained the U.S. economy for themselves. Gen Xers and baby boomers don't even get along with one another for the most part.
Furthermore, even older Gen Xers do not view themselves as senior citizens inasmuch as most of them are still not legally old enough to collect social security payments. My philosophy is if you're under 65 years of age and your father is still alive, then you're not yet old and you're not a senior citizen. Those two prongs describe most Gen Xers, even the oldest ones. In a nutshell, there is no such thing as an elderly Gen Xer.
Now, Mr. Flynn? If you're going to campaign to get elected officials to enact forced heirship laws throughout every jurisdiction of the United States, then I am all on board with your objective. I get so sick and tired of seeing videos on YouTube and elsewhere on the Internet that show these elderly people bragging about disinheriting their own adult children when many younger generations are barely scraping by financially.
No parent should be legally allowed to disinherit their offspring under any circumstances. Allowing this atrocity to go on could explain why our nation has a problem with poverty and homelessness.
All of this garbage that journalists like Jesse Watters spew about how homeless people have failed in life after they have been priced out of their homes is nothing but a recipe for our nation possibly falling into danger of becoming another Soviet Union after angry, destitute people begin tearing the whole nation apart.
If you believe that elderly elected officials are turning a blind eye to this same impending tragedy, Mr. Flynn, then you have my vote of confidence in educating the public about the problems that are transpiring because of selfish attitudes within the gerontocracy. However, do not be encouraging ageism among your viewers. There are many older Americans that are suffering financially too.

Gen X, usually totally ignored in the inter generational feud between boomers Millennials and zoomers… is the first generation to be poorer than their parents.
This was not done by Gen X to themselves. This was done to them, by boomers. The biggest reason for this is that the boomers have millions more votes. And millennials too, have millions more votes than Gen X. So them the boomers are done f---ing over their kids, Gen X’s kids will start. Gen X is screwed. Forever. Just watch. SSA benefits won’t change until boomers are done collecting, then it will get slashed, until millennials want to collect, then it will go up again.
You cannot make this stuff up. YouTuber @mgtowbylogic5592 has kept abreast of everything going on around him.

Oh I forgot to mention how annoying it is when boomers complain how hard they had it as kids… they want us to believe the personally fought Hitler and Tojo in hand to hand combat up hill both ways in the snow. Yeah gifted world free of war but you just had it so bad. Went to college for like $5k total. Bought their first house with the help of the govt for down payment for like $50,000… inherited from their parents… and now boomers are saying “we plan to die with nothing!” Excuse me? I got you how many clients and now you’re giving me nothing left over? Wow. Thanks.
The baby boomers had it easy compared with younger generations. There is no argument about that point. Many of them, not all of them, dodged the military draft to do drugs and picket in the streets.

Your Pathetic 🤣
Video is filled with Ageism & Disrespect
Save this video show it to my local Congressman & Senator to show how Young know nothing but HATE 🤬
Even AOC ( D - NY ) still shows Respect to Older Individuals
Oh one more thing, Your Not Funny
I understand your anger, YouTuber @zcorpalpha2462. Nobody is going to benefit from anyone promoting ageism and bigotry. If our nation has little or no unity in the long run, we are all doomed.

I got news for you, it's not any generation that ruined anything..
It's the top 1% of EVERY GENERATION THAT RUINED IT..
the top one percent consume 20% of the resources in the world..
And you are just another brainwashed person to believe anything else..
The top 1% is in control of everyone's future and nobody stands up to them..
This is the real deal, and I'm glad you posted it, YouTuber @Vantage-c5q. The Baby Boomer Generation is very large. Therefore, it could explain why perhaps it appears that that generation is the one pulling the strings of our economy and our society, but there is much more behind the problems of our nation than what immediately meets the eye.

We need politically engaged and involved Millennials, and later running for office . But denying others ( Citizens) , including Geriatrics the right to vote is just sick and non-democratic. The truth is there is little or no representation for the old and infirm. Nobody is taking steps to secure the elderly today . Nursing homes are too few and too expensive . Social Security dose not cover most peoples cost of living , let alone out of pocket medical expenses . The reason that The Maligned elderly have more money combined /than the young proportionately is because they earned it the hard way ,over 50-65 years of hard dull work and saving . That is not a slight against you individually or personally . You still have time to acquire wealth if you apply your self in some viable talent. Stop Blaming the Elderly for what A few big greedy Corporations have done in this country and world , to your future . That is not your Grandparents fault . They never voted for Raytheon , Or Shell Oil , EXON, Or for Black Rock . If they had any stock in those companies, It would be because their stock broker advised them to invest in the Big Fortune 500 companies .There are only a handful of Very Private individuals that are in charge of Corrupt Banking and Crooked Brokerage Firms ,Big Money Corporations and Big Technology . Shake your fist at the correct people , or rather MAGA Corps. This is why you are stuck in a going nowhere world , not your Grandma .
Additionally take steps to get Corporate money out of Politics, and see how that goes . No really this is the key to change .Now if you can get someone to enforce it .This is the real problem . https://www.justice.gov/archives/jm/criminal-resource-manual-2041-bribery-public-officials thanksdoc Please tell grandma hello for me.
I like this woman's style. There is much more to this issue of power politics than what Mr. Flynn cares to realize.

4. Final Thoughts
I realize that it is difficult for me or anyone to do justice to this same topic in one article. Therefore, I decided to get my key points off my chest. Then again, Alec Flynn wasn't quite able to do justice to this same topic in one video, and I'm sure he's going to be getting a load of backlash from others in days to come.
Nonetheless, although I do agree with Mr. Flynn that the Baby Boomer Generation does have some bad actors from within their ranks, other generations have their fair share of evildoers as well. Mr. Flynn cannot win this argument by injecting ageism into his narrative. It only infuriates the public.
Mr. Flynn is looking to remake the movie titled Logan's Run. Although that movie was an interesting science-fiction yarn in that it was something different, nobody should take its plot seriously. It was only a movie meant to entertain its viewers and nothing more.
Mr. Flynn couldn't even get his information about Generation X right. Most Gen Xers can relate better to Millennials and Gen Zers than they can to baby boomers. Why? It's simply because Gen Xers are not elderly people. They're among the younger generations. Yes, they are all middle-aged, but they're not yet ready for a rocking chair. Duhhhh!!!
Why does Mr. Flynn mention nothing about the Silent Generation? Hmmm. They're elderly too.
