This is so unbelievable what I'm about to tell you. The commentators on the panel of The Majority Report WITH SAM SEDER accused Charlie Kirk of giving gross advice to a 14-year-old girl merely because he told her that she may meet her future husband in college. These self-appointed psychiatrists on these news podcasts drive me up the wall. Grrrrr!! They're self-styled agitators, except they don't have legitimate causes.

Where is Robert Lindsay when you need him? Remember him? He used to publish controversial articles about teenagers on his Wordpress blog. Then one day it disappeared from the Internet. He still has a Linkedin account. Supposedly you can access a blog of his from a link therein, but you have to have a Google account. I haven't tried it yet, but it's on my radar.

Now, don't think that I'm a major fan of Charlie Kirk, because I'm not. I'm a moderate Independent, whereas Mr. Kirk is a conservative Republican. Therefore, there are a number of issues that I disagree with him about.

Nevertheless, we live in a nation known as the United States where the First Amendment to the United States Constitution allows for free speech; and as long as Mr. Kirk is not hurting anyone with his free speech, I have no problem with him giving good, sound advice to a teenage girl. He is entitled to his own opinions, and he's at liberty to share them with other people, even with a 14-year-old girl.

Before I comment on what the above-described panel said about Mr. Kirk, let me allow you to watch the video of it below. I'm sure that you'll agree with me that Mr. Kirk's advice to the 14-year-old girl who asked him questions was completely harmless.

Charlie Kirk Encourages A 14-Year-Old Girl To Be Open To Finding Her Future Husband In College

Mr. Kirk wasn't telling this young girl to get back into the kitchen upon graduating from college. The panel above got him all wrong. He was only advising her to socialize in college and keep her prospects open to a future husband for after college.

College is where a number of people meet their future spouse. It doesn't mean that this 14-year-old girl has to turn into a traditional housewife after she finishes her collegiate studies. Mr. Kirk only wanted her to socialize in college and be open to romance.

When I attended college, a number of my classmates talked about marrying their significant other after graduation. The above-described 14-year-old girl even welcomed Mr. Kirk's advice to her with a smile. How is any of that gross? It's not as though he was telling her to lose her virginity right away or that he was attempting to corrupt her mind.

The young girl is beautiful in that she has brunette hair, a dimple in her chin, and a radiant smile. She probably already has a boyfriend. If she doesn't have one, she probably gets asked out often to school dances. The likelihood that she'll get married after college is fairly high I would have to say. She looked happy and tickled from Mr. Kirk's response to her.

You would think that the panel above would be happy that this teenage girl was actively participating in collective discussions about political and social issues. It would not have been the first time that a girl this young has done so.

In 1965, a 13-year-old girl named Mary Beth Tinker started a movement in her school in which she and her classmates wore armbands to protest against the Vietnam War. She and her brother took this same matter to the Supreme Court of the United States ("SCOTUS") after the school administrators interfered with her freedom-of-speech rights.

In 1970, a 14-year-old girl named Mary Ann Vecchio participated in an anti-war demonstration at Kent State University. There is a famous picture of her kneeling over a deceased 20-year-old Jeffrey Miller immediately after the Ohio National Guard had shot him dead.

1.  The Singles Environment Of College Campuses

Is the United States turning into so much of a puritanical black hole that a political commentator cannot even give advice to a teenage girl to keep her prospects of romance and future marriage open while she is in college? It doesn't mean that the 14-year-old girl in the video above is going to have to drop out of college to become a stay-at-home housewife that is barefoot and pregnant.

When I attended college, male students were always getting their female classmates' phone numbers and asking them out on dates. Romance was everywhere on campus. College students were not as modest either as they were back in high school, because they didn't have their parents breathing down their backs about whom they could date and how late they could stay out.

I've known a number of women who met their husbands in college and got married right after graduation. It doesn't mean that they gave up their career goals. Some of them went on to complete their graduate studies. Many of them put off having children for ten or more years to establish themselves in a career, because they and their husbands wanted to earn enough money to give their kids the best lives they could give them.

Not all women feel that they have to choose between a career and motherhood. A friend of my mother was a good parent and a good wife, and she stayed active in local politics. She was also a career woman. She was a phenomenon. She did nothing to hide the fact that she was into women's liberation.

After Mr. Kirk gave the 14-year-old girl in the video above his advice, everyone in his audience was cheering. Nobody was booing him or objecting to his advice.

2.  No Psychological Or Emotional Scars Upon The 14-Year-Old Girl

The above panel insisted that Charlie Kirk somehow psychologically and emotionally scarred the 14-year-old girl to whom he gave advice in the video above. Give me a break! He kept his conversation with her completely Rated G. He merely acknowledged that by the time she was in college, she would likely have love interests; and he encouraged her to cultivate them to pave her pathway out to a future of success in everything she does, including the prospects of marriage and family.

Mr. Kirk didn't suggest that the young girl should become promiscuous in her early adult years or anything of the sort. He simply pointed out that she is going to be marriage material by the time that she comes of age. He wasn't discouraging her from pursuing her career goals while finding a significant other who will respect those same goals of hers.

What is wrong with these panelists on The Majority Report WITH SAM SEDER? It's as though they nitpick at everything about someone whenever that individual has a harmless conversation with a teenage minor.

3.  Final Thoughts

Why can't anyone express their opinion nowadays without being accused of being politically incorrect? I'm not saying that nobody can criticize Charlie Kirk for his school of thought. I've given him my fair share of criticism. However, I saw no harm in the advice that he gave the 14-year-old girl in the video above.

I wouldn't doubt that the young girl's parents were there and that they also applauded Mr. Kirk afterwards. He was very respectful with the young girl. He did nothing wrong. There was nothing gross about what he said to her, and he's not a freak. He behaved like a gentleman with this 14-year-old girl as he should have.

These panelists on The Majority Report WITH SAM SEDER need to get a life. I was not at all impressed with their comments about Mr. Kirk, and I'm sure that a number of people feel the same way that I do about them. They like to make mountains out of molehills.
