Social-Justice Warriors? Stop Redefining Pedophilia Into Something It's Not!

Not too long ago when I was surfing around on YouTube, I came across this one YouTuber named Hawk's Podcasts/mdg650hawk. Everyone calls him Hawk, so I will also call him that.

Hawk was obviously another social-justice warrior looking for a cause. Now, I'm not going to deny that I do like some of his videos. He is apparently in favor of Universal Healthcare coming to the United States, and I share that same opinion of his.

Nonetheless, Hawk posted this one video regarding teenage marriage that I found rather tacky and misleading. Below is that same video.

Hawk Questions Teenage Marriage As Being A Product Of Straight, White, Republican, Christian Men's Phobia To Adult Women

I'm not going to tear this man apart, because I do not view him to be stupid. At the same time, I believe that his preconceived notions on certain topics get the best of him and cloud his judgment.

In his video above, Hawk points out that the Trump administration wishes to lower the minimum adult age of prosecution to 14 years old for all Federal crimes in the United States. Then he complains that even though the Republicans support this legislative measure, they want it to be legal everywhere in our nation for adult men to be able to marry 14-year-old girls.

Nonetheless, the real question that Hawk should be asking is this. If American prosecutors want the right to try minors as young as 12 years old as adults, then why are they so opposed to minors, 12 years of age and older, being granted veto power in statutory-rape cases? It's as though Hawk is purposely using reverse psychology to support his agenda.

It only gets worse. Prosecutors throughout the United States like trying minors as young as 12 years of age as adults, but, for some reason or another, they want to go easy on male teenage minors who commit some of the most violent sex crimes against underage girls.

Don't let these social-justice warriors play tricks with your mind. Hawk never straight out accuses any adult man of being a pedophile for falling in love with a 14-year-old girl and wanting to marry her. However, his viewing audience in the comments section of his video have a field day in mendaciously pedo-shaming each and every man who fits this description.

1.  The Stench Of A Blatant Double Standard

Marrying a 14-year-old girl doesn't make an adult man a pervert. Adult men have been doing it for centuries, and such marriages have led to long, happy lives and prosperous families. Why can't Hawk and others like him see that?

In 1850, 39-year-old Colonel Abraham Charles Myers became romantically involved with Marion Isabelle Twiggs and asked for her hand in marriage when she was only 13 years old. He married her when she was 15 years old and he was 42 years old. Fort Myers was named after him in the state of Florida.

The former Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (H.U.B.), Dr. Ben Carson, has revealed to the public that when his parents got married, his mother was 13 years old and his father was 28 years old. To the best of my knowledge, Dr. Carson and his brother have never denounced their parents' marriage as inappropriate.

Let's stop pretending that same-age married couples who were high-school sweethearts that wedded at age 18 and 19 are so high and holy, because they are not. Way too many Americans have failed to see the true colors of many of them for years.

Anyhow, here is the elephant in the room. If an adult man marries a 14-year-old girl here in the United States, he may still be arrested in later years for suspicion of statutory rape in the event that someone accuses him of having consummated his love with her before their honeymoon in a state jurisdiction where a 14-year-old girl is below the statutory age of consent and felonies have no statute of limitations.

On the other hand, whenever a teenage boy younger than 18 years of age brutally rapes an underage girl, somehow the criminal justice system and the court system find a way to coddle him throughout the process here in the United States. Look at the video below, and you'll see what I mean.

I'm not a major fan of Ashleigh Banfield. However, I do have to give her credit for being brave enough to cover this same story despite that the mainstream press and media don't want Americans to know about atrocities and injustices like these.

Jesse Mack Butler raped two underage girls in a brutally violent fashion, and he is suspected of violently raping a third underage girl. Moreover, he didn't commit these crimes only once on each girl. His sex crimes were part of his ongoing sexual violence against these girls. Being younger than 18 years old somehow got him off easy with a ridiculously light sentence.

Now, I understand that juvenile courts don't sentence even underage rapists as harshly as the adult courts do. However, this punk was clearly destined to receive almost eight decades behind bars, and here the judge in his matter ultimately sentenced him to 150 hours of community service and provided him with access to various governmental services along with it. Where is the justice here?

Like Mr. Butler, Juan Miranda-Jara was also living in the state of Oklahoma when he was convicted of non-violent, non-forcible sexual offenses involving his adolescent girlfriend, but did he get as generous of a plea-bargain deal as Mr. Butler did? Hardly. You see, unlike Mr. Butler, he was 24 years old at the time of his arrest.

Mr. Miranda-Jara received a lengthy prison sentence. His only real crime was falling in love with a young girl he planned to marry and fathering a baby with her when she just happened to be on the opposite side of the legal age line from him.

This young girl named Jocelyn Castañeda didn't want the police involved in her matter. She simply wanted to have her baby and for her and Mr. Miranda-Jara to wed each other and raise their child together. She had her mother's full blessing. Yet the police and the prosecutor got Mr. Miranda-Jara as much prison time as they could get him. He never forced anyone into anything they didn't want to do. So why is Mr. Butler walking the streets a free man?

Could it be any clearer that the United States has a two-tier system of justice when it comes to American sex laws? Mr. Butler won't even have to register as a convicted sex offender. Mr. Miranda-Jara will have to do so. It's a travesty of justice, and somebody needs to be held accountable for it.

Now, don't get me wrong. I never encourage any girl to get married at 12 years of age. However, in the matter of Jocelyn Castañeda, she was pregnant and she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Mr. Miranda-Jara. He never coerced her or groomed her into anything she didn't want to do. They were meant for each other. Police intervention helped nobody in that event. Jocelyn and Mr. Miranda-Jara lost their baby to a social-services agency that had no right to steal their baby.

What point am I trying to make? People wrongfully accuse Mr. Miranda-Jara of being a pedophile, even though he is not one. Mr. Butler clearly harmed two teenage girls who were still minors and possibly a third one. Does anyone get to call him a pedophile? They'd get accused of being politically incorrect if they did.

According to the Fifth Edition of the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders ("DSM-5"), Mr. Butler is not a pedophile inasmuch as he was never sexually attracted to a prepubescent child five years his junior. Of course, that's beside the point. He's a vile monster, whereas Mr. Miranda-Jara isn't.

In the comments section to Hawk's video above, self-appointed psychiatrists, self-proclaimed child advocates, and the likes insisted that adult men who fell in love with 14-year-old girls were either weak or controlling. I have to question whether these people have actually ever met an adult man who married a 14-year-old girl, because they certainly take no time in stereotyping these men in their posts.

From knowing people whose marriages fit this same scenario, I've found that adult men who marry 14-year-old girls may be nostalgic, because perhaps they missed out on the teenage dating scene back in middle school and high school due to circumstances beyond their control and they crave that first-love experience that many adolescent boys get to have.

Often these men don't want to wait another four years to make their relationships with these girls legal, because their feelings for each other are way too strong to ignore. That inclination is not sexually deviant.

There could be many reasons that adult men marry 14-year-old girls, but those reasons don't have to be negative ones. Never mind all the bogus conspiracy theories regarding grooming, pedophilia, and human trafficking that radical feminists like Fraidy Reiss, Jeanne Smoot, and Shanley Kane spew to the public in their never-ending propaganda.

TV personalities like Chris Hansen, Oprah Winfrey, John Walsh, and Corey Feldman are going to have their arrogant, biased opinions about men who fall in love with 14-year-old girls and ask their hands in marriage. However, at the end of the day, these four individuals have circus shows that they've dealt with or have been dealing with in their own lives that make them nobody to pass judgment on others.

In his video above, Hawk harps about Republican men not wanting to prosecute adult men for sexually assaulting 14-year-old girls. Well, Hawk? A lot of woke Democrats don't wish to prosecute underage boys for brutally raping 14-year-old girls. So, why don't you chew on that for a while?

Regardless of who is doing what on Capitol Hill or elsewhere in the United States, a 14-year-old girl should be given the legal option to get married. If she has her parents' permission and judicial approval to do so, then nobody has the right to stand in her way. At the same time, it doesn't mean that society should have to encourage such marriages.

If I had my way, young people would be putting off marriage until their thirties. Of course, that's just me. Everyone has their own opinion on when is the right time to get married.

2.  A Better Question For Hawk

In his video above, another question that Hawk should be asking his viewing audience is why do most Democrats believe that a 14-, 15-, 16-, and 17-year-old girl is way too young for legal marriage despite that her parents consent to it and she has judicial approval, whereas they are perfectly on board with laws that would allow kids as young as 5 years old to get a sex-change operation without the prior consent and knowledge of their parents? It does seem quite hypocritical on their part when you think about it.

This point is an even bigger elephant in the room than my previous one. Of course, Hawk would never address that same point of mine in any of his videos, because he doesn't wish to upset his liberal fanbase on YouTube. When you take all of these different facts into consideration, Hawk really has no right to be pervert-shaming anyone.

Hawk? If you're reading this article here of mine, I will admit to you that I realize that puritans in the Republican Party or in any political party can be hypocrites. However, TV personalities like Chris Hansen, Oprah Winfrey, John Walsh, and Corey Feldman can be so too and usually are.

3.  Final Thoughts

The major concern I have about Hawk after watching his video above is that he has the preconceived notion that if an adult man marries a 14-year-old girl, that adult man will eventually fall out of love with her as she matures into adulthood and he will ultimately abandon her. His school of thought couldn't be any further from reality.

I've known of adult men who have married girls that young to put their wives through college. Older men are always getting demonized for even having any kind of remote non-Platonic feelings for an adolescent girl. After viewing the video above about Jesse Mack Butler sexually brutalizing underage girls, it becomes clear that underage boys have greater access to 14-year-old girls than older men do and are, therefore, more likely to rape them.

Mr. Butler even filmed his victims while he was raping them. He definitely harmed them. On the other hand, where is the harm of an adult man asking a 14-year-old girl's hand in marriage? She can always say no and walk away from him without any further contact. Whenever an adult man and a teenage girl who is still a minor are in love with each other, marriage is a way of weeding the bad apples out from the good apples in such situations.

There's a world of a difference. I need say no more. I've stressed my points and arguments. An adult man's attraction to a 14-year-old girl has nothing to do with pedophilia. An adult man's marriage proposal is an honorable thing, even to a 14-year-old girl.

On the thumbnail of Hawk's video above, someone suggested in a post that the statutory age of consent be raised to 21 years old everywhere in the United States. If a statutory age of consent of 21 years old didn't work in the Netherlands on up until 1990, then what makes anyone think that it will bring successful results here in the United States?

The statutory ages of consent are too high throughout the United States as they are. Elected officials need to stop stripping teenage girls of their right to get married also. The United States is gradually turning into a puritanical hellhole, and Americans are expatriating and renouncing their U.S. citizenship because of it.

Self-appointed psychiatrists, self-proclaimed child advocates, social-justice warriors, and the likes have taken the definition of pedophilia and have changed it from a psychiatric disorder and paraphilia into a dangerously bogus conspiracy theory that has done more harm than good to society. It's time that each and every American wakes up and smells the coffee, because this same trend is taking us all down a very harmful path.

I'm equally as anti-pedophile as the majority of you are. However, I'm also opposed to social-justice warriors branding people with the "pedophile" label who are not truly pedophiles. It's degrading and unjust.
