Opening your borders to everyone is the stupidest thing a country can do and Europe is paying the price now. Ship them all home, if they don't contribute to growing the economy. Simple as that and not negotiable!

America is definitely paying for that (treason) stupidity now too. Thing is, the scoundrels (I'm being nice) that allowed it to happen are fighting tooth and nail to keep it from being corrected, so anything in a positive direction about it has been very slow. It's awful!
It is awful, when you don't feel safe anymore in your own country, your job is taken by outsiders and you see the government favoring those who would not have any right in the country. The US has so many immigrants, undocumented, I don't know what's going to happen if this is allowed to evolve.
IMO..... Undocumented immigrants aren't immigrants in the nature of the meaning, they are illegal invaders. So many years it has taken to build things up, so little time to tear it down again. I'm skeptical about it being possible to recover from. Very sad.
