He should be on @hivewatchers list. Others have been for far less then what @onlyjob is doing. At least I rebuilt saw your comment and can return favor for ya. I hate downvoting but this is a content thief and deserves it!

Let my clarify few things, @shaidon. Although it may have been phrased needlessly harsh (after your revenge-downvoting), I gave you explanation. It was because your selfie video of no particular importance for broader audience was thrown into everyone's timeline by promotion. That make it look like you are treating entire audience of Ecency like your individual followers. I gave that promoted post of yours -20% ($ -0.003 -- a penalty almost 400 times smaller than your current reward for the post) downvote, to provide negative feedback with minimum impact to your reputation score, rather than to punish you -- a something that revengeful follower of yours was so happy to do.
My reaction have nothing to do with originality of your video, not using AI (which I respect, because AI is harmful for human communication), etc. Promotion was the main issue.
Note that regular follower of yours would not even notice the drama because we are having this conversation under my post.

I did that once, and I see nothing wrong with downvoting reactions. It is not a kindergarten where everyone is given praise and participation award. Sometimes negative feedback is warranted. If you upvote, why the opposite is wrong? Would you never scold a litterer?

You could have left a comment to explain, but no, you didn’t. You blindly thought what I was doing was narcissistic when in reality it was for the benefit of everyone. The mention of “Best Lav Mics” was for people who create podcasts and YouTube videos. Therefore it was suitable for promotion.

It is fair to upvote when you like something and downvote when you don't. You downvoted my post not on merit by as revenge, which I think is wrong. If you think that posts promoting "Best Lav Mics" deserve Ecency boost to force it to everyone's attention, that's just spamming indistinguishable from ads. Why everyone must know?
My reaction to your post was not a mistake, although you might see it as unfair or undeserved. However I admit that my comment with explanation was needlessly harsh. (Have you notice what your followers did to me in revenge for minor dislike?)
Everyone is "Hive police". That's how community works -- you don't have to have a special authority to react to posts of others, whether positively or negatively, as you see fit.
