What made him resign
Worried about the Americans taking him apart piece by piece to sell him for scraps, I should imagine. I forgot how dull he sounds. Old, outdated robot that he is.

I was just reading a comment on how odd it was to hear him end his speech with "God bless Romania". Something he's never said before. Ever... Maybe copying a phrase customarily used by US presidents is a way of saying where the order to resign came from. Sort of “He who has ears to hear, let him hear.”
Passive-aggressive Klaus be like. :D I don't think anyone had any doubt where the order might've come from.
