Trump and Elon Beef
It’s really not every day you see two of the most powerful men in the world publicly falling out but that’s exactly what happened between Elon Musk and Donald Trump this past week. The thing that started as a few sharp posts on social media turned into a messy argument that played out in front of millions and millions of people. Now, Elon Musk is admitting that he went a bit too far.
Elon posted that he regrets some of the things he said about Trump. This came after days of back and forth jabs between the two, where elon criticized Trump’s latest tax bill and even brought up Trump’s name in connection with the Epstein case, a very serious topic that should not be thrown around without real evidence. That post was later deleted, along with a few others. Good call Elon.
This has come hs a shock especially considering that not long ago, Musk and Trump were working closely together in government. Elon had even helped lead a department focused on cutting jobs in the federal workforce. But clearly, something shifted between them. Elon's frustration with Trump’s policies, especially the economic ones seemed to push him over the edge. At one point, he even liked a post calling for Trump to be impeached. But maybe Elon finally realized the cost of this feud. Tesla’s stock went up after he tried to make peace, which shows investors prefer peace over a fight with the freaking president of the United States of America. Although Trump said he’s not thinking about Elon anymore, this whole thing is definitely personal.
Elon's own father spoke out, saying the fight was a mistake and would probably blow over soon.
Let's be real, people make mistakes, especially when emotions are high and there’s so much pride involved. It’s easy to forget that even billionaires and presidents are human. This was perhaps just a moment where ego met regret and both sides will look back at it and wish they handled it better.
