RE: How do Chiang Mai locals feel about the battles between Cambodia and Thailand?

it's pretty far from where I am but while I think it is tragic that this is happening at all I don't think that Thailand has a reputation for being reasonable. The Thai military is much more well-equipped than Cambodia's. Cambodia also barely has an air force so air superiority will be established immediately. Both sides continue to point the finger at the other and I am sure everyone is lying The temple the entire thing is over has been damaged by some sort of artillery fire as well.
