The Dutch cabinet dropped ...again...

Well well well, there we go again with the Dutch cabinet which fell again and new elections will be on the way later on in the year.

When looking back into the last couple of years it kind of feels like we haven't had a stable cabinet for a long time and every big decision that has to be made is postponed because the decisions are too big.

If felt like this dropping of the cabinet was already coming up last week as the biggest party all of a sudden put in a press conference which is not their style to normally do as they normally communicate a lot through Twitter. There were a lot of ultimatums pushed in there which never would able to happen in the short time frame (Im leaving to you if you agree with them or not, that is everyones own choice) so already that was a sign that this might not settle that fast and it would the cabinet in jeopardy.

And so this happened and the country is a steerless ship again chopping against the waves of life. The good thing about having a multi party cabinet is that a broad spectrum of opinions is represented. The bad thing about a multi party cabinet is that there is literally never an agreement possible.

From that perspective this was already a dropping in the making for months and I am sure that no one actually thought that this cabinet would making it through full term.

Well will see what will happen in the upcoming months before the elections, most likely nothing. But this is annoying again and with upcoming summer recess this even means that literally there will be a stand still for weeks or months..
