Liberland Challenges Global Norms at Davos

On January 20th, Liberland will host “Liberland Day,” featuring a sovereign state briefing by President Vít Jedlička. The address will cover diplomatic developments, the implementation of decentralized governance, and Liberland’s evolving economic framework. Alongside the briefing, a diplomatic reception will bring together global leaders, policymakers, and innovators to discuss practical approaches to sovereignty, economic freedom, and citizen empowerment.

In line with Liberland’s meritocratic principles, a speaking slot will be reserved for a citizen project. All citizens are invited to submit initiatives, ventures, or protocols that align with the values of individual liberty and viability. Three projects will be selected, with one presented on the Davos stage. Those who become new citizens in time for the event are also eligible to submit a project and compete for this speaking opportunity. This approach embodies the nation’s commitment to empowering individuals to represent the collective, turning sovereignty from theory into practice.
