Above all, I am left with this view that the governments of those countries of origin of emigrants bear great responsibility for this whole nightmare of irregular migration. Without ignoring the impact that, as we know, U.S. policy has, they must be held accountable for those (bad) dynamics that are their responsibility and that feed the phenomenon. It is common to always appeal to external conditions without sincerely attending to the internal ones, which also determine; they must have the courage to recognize them before their people. In the end, part of the bad economy that causes thousands of people to flee is based on rampant internal corruption. But the region also has a weak rule of law, poor political communication and the inability of states to manage security.
