Zelensky and Trump discuss new sanctions amid ongoing conflict

Good or bad news?

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described his recent meeting with U.S. President Donald Trump as their most substantive to date. The discussion focused on new U.S. sanctions targeting Russian sectors, including energy and banking as many outlets report such as NY post.

Concurrently, Russia launched a significant drone attack on Kyiv, injuring 11 people - will this conflict ever be solved with the current politicians in power around the three reelevant parties? I only see Russia, Ukraine and US as reelvant - the european Unions tries to talk but no one cares it seems - sad but true.

We all hope this war will end right?

But is this is step forward to ending or will escalate even more via sanctions and delivering new weapons frkm the US or any other regions?
