Real Talk @everyone Beuro of Meterology, as far as i skimmed ABC news, suggest, early morning Landfall for Cyclone Alfred, again, i repeat, if you are, chilling, chatting, bantering with gamers in QLD, tell them, to protect their equipment, last news i checked, gold coast was the most to be hit, but it could shift, Cyclone Alfred, They need to have, their rigs, and equipment, in waterproof things, simple storage tubs, should the worst happen, so that they can protect it, and evac it, - if they dont have that, K-Mart, is 24-7 in NSW, i assume so in QLD, go there, buy a plastic storage box, and have it ready to store in - for those staying, and if not staying ready to put in your car

BUT REMEMBER, once the storm hits, you cant drive then, dont drive in flood waters, if your going, your going now, if your staying, Buckle Up - i WISH i could, or we could do more, but its not exactly MGI's area yeah? what we can do, is remind people, in game, to remain calm, and orderly, and hope for the best, but prepare for the worst, so again, if you are playing with Aussies in QLD, specifically the younger kids, please, advise them to protect their hardware.

Tune in to the ABC, for your local emergency local, broadcasting frequencies, and have them set, on your non digital devices, in the least, if you can duck out right now, an grab a normal transistor battery radio, do it, i have one, in the event of emergency, so should you, every Australian should

What i will say, practical, from MGI point of view, as the club president, i have observed many QLD flood, and, if you have a BCF (Beer Camping Fishing) nearby, toddle off and buy an inflatable dingy, its actually very useful, if you end up on your roof, what you can do is, tether it, via a rope or anchor if you will, to the roof of your house, then if SES need to come and pick you up - your in a static spot, kinda just floating as water rises, but hopefully, it slows down, once it hits land, its going to slam the coast, but it will break down rapidly, they usually do

I will say this @everyone i had a storm roll over here so thick recently, it even blocked starlink, which, is pretty impressive, they need, to have, their phones charged, perhaps a few candles in place, for power outages but get your power sorted, there are still, and still is time, to sort all that out, your going to want light, during it all, or you will be scared, were mamals, were humans, sure our eyes adjust, but there is something about the light, that brings us calm, even in stressful situations, its a brutal storm, my thoughts are with those on the outlying islands, they are going to take the brunt of it, and my Niece works out on one of them! So in this case darling, listen to your Uncle, not your Mother, God bless you darling, but you have Kinnear blood, and when the proverbial hits the fan, we come into form, thats what we do, despite, what your mother tells you (Sorry Sister) - You can always count on a Kinnear to get the Job Done, no matter the cost.

Do what you do Rennae, look after and support the people around you, with your skills, and keep, your friends calm, and do not forget what i last told you, when you last saw me, Love to all, my Nieces and Nephews.

Let me tell you how to do it, absorb it, pull the energy, out of the storm, it will make you feel amazing, we don't sail out of storms, we sail into them, I felt this, last April, and did it, cant wait to be back at sea again, god I miss it, once you taste it, you can never turn back, said i am sure, every true seafarer ever, its wonderful out there, when the weather is nice, and when its not, I turn my ship into it, science to study,

Anyway, love you all, look after yourselves, please look after yourself sweetheart, for your dear Uncle, who loves you very much.
