Here’s what you do, and you better do it fast, I haven’t got time for politicians in business suites, or far a-flung politician news or whatever, no alarmist, Queensland, here’s what you do.

Now yes, I am working on some financial matters, and I have been tasked with something that is not my area of expertise, straight up facts, if it isn’t your area of expertise, give it to someone who is, that’s how you run a business, that’s how you run a government, but lets focus.

You have a cyclone rolling in, LISTEN to me, I don’t talk tripe like them QLD, understand, the threat to property damage, calmly, if you are in a flood potential zone, or a storm potential zone, then you need to NOT be in said zones, while this is going on, if there is any logic, and reason to the bureaucracy, or the private sectors, then you get your assets out of there, NOW, not in 15 minutes, now, not alarmist, move your things out of harm’s way, in situations like this, buses, trains, all public transportation should be immediately free – and, those individuals working such precarious parts of national infrastructure afforded double overtime and hazard pay, for their service, as, documented, as, is feasible, to pay, upon next commencement.

Yes, Queensland has these things occur all the time, we do not in NSW, time is of the essence, logically, if you can leave, you should leave, go to higher ground, don’t alarm the children, no need for stress, but, perhaps catch a train down south for the evening and stay in a motel, perhaps go to the mountain areas, in your region, and have a nice night away, all very possible, no need for alarm, this is just a storm, and goodness knows the resolve of QLD people, but, I will be brief, because time very much is of the essence, SES need to be standing by, all ham operators need to be standing by, and you need to approach, your SES officials to see how, and what, you can do to contribute.

If you are coastline, you need to remove yourself from the coastline, gather all your things, place them into whatever you have, and calmly, in your vehicle, and move, don’t worry, it’s a CAT event, your home and contents insurance will cover it, don’t be one of those fools that sits around and thinks they can ride it out, I get it, we do that here in NSW to with the fires, but when you got to move, you got to move.

So, truck the politicians, real talk, look after yourself, you really going to rely on the politicians when a waves battering down your door, or a flood barrier breaks? Think logically, you still got time, calm, orderly, find a place to shack up for the night, catch a train catch a bus, drive your car, but remove yourself, from harms way, calmly, honestly, if you cant afford lodgings, just literally sleep in your car, out of harms way for the night, THAT wont kill you, being in harms way, potentially will, and then leave the rest to the emergency services and SES, Fire & Police response teams and go home the following day.

So, get on with it then, hurry up.
