What exactly is expected when writing in Japanese?/japaneseで書くには何を期待されているのかな？
I believe the rule here on Hive is that you can write anything as long as it doesn't hurt people.
Well, the Japanese community is small, and unless you post in both Japanese and English, you won't get a certain level of votes. Back in the Steemit days, it couldn't compete with the Korean community, and now on Hive, it can't match the Chinese community. If you only write in Japanese, you won't get noticed. So people who can't write in English don't come to Hive. Or rather, those fluent in English might not come to the Japanese community at all, choosing to be active only in English.
Diversity, huh. I know about LGBTQ+ at least. Beyond that, there's climate change, xenophobia, refugees, gender issues, the choice of separate surnames for married couples, power harassment, sexual harassment, soaring prices, non-regular workers, nurses, childcare workers, caregivers – people doing vital jobs yet constantly understaffed due to abysmal wages. Women do over twice the household labor than men. My own mother, a hairdresser running her own salon, juggled work, housework, childcare, and ultimately collapsed from a subarachnoid hemorrhage. Japanese people have the shortest sleep time in the world, yet they can't even manage a normal life.
Despite this, the Takaichi administration seems more eager to push for constitutional revision and rush headlong toward becoming a war-capable nation than to address the soaring prices the public desperately wants tackled. As I mentioned before, Japan, with its lack of resources and low food self-sufficiency rate, is incapable of waging war. If imports were stopped, that would be the end of it.

まあでもjapanese は人数も少ないし、日英併記でないと一定のvoteはしてもらえないようですね。Steemit時代にはkr、Hiveの今では中国語のコミュニティに及ばない。日本語だけで書いていては相手にされない。だから英語で書けない人はHiveに寄りつかない。というか英語堪能な方はjapanese に来ないで英語のみでご活躍かもしれません。
多様性ですね。LGBTQ＋くらいは私も知っています。その他にも気候変動、排外主義、難民、ジェンダー、選択的夫婦別姓、パワハラ、セクハラ、物価高騰、非正規労働者、看護師、保育士、介護士などといった大事な仕事を担っている人々が賃金が低すぎて常に人不足であること。女性の家事労働が男性の2倍以上で、私の母なども美容師で自分の店を持っていて、仕事、家事、育児すべてやって、その結果、くも膜下出血で倒れました。日本人は世界一睡眠時間が短いほど働いているのに普通の生活すらできない。
それなのに、高市政権は国民が願っている物価高騰対策より、改憲に熱心で戦争をする国にまっしぐらなようです。前にも少し言ったけど、何にも資源のない、食料自給率も低い日本は戦争なんて不可能です。輸入ストップされたらそれで一巻の終わり。
