Why is there a Team Ukraine but no Team Palestine?

As the title says. Well, the Palestinian issue has been going on for over 70 years, so maybe it's not worth making a fuss about anymore?

In 2019, I submitted an oil painting titled "A member of the West-Eastern Divan Orchestra" to the Sakujitsukai Exhibition and received the Best Honorable Mention Award. This orchestra is composed of young people from the Middle East, including Israel and Palestine. It was founded by the Jewish conductor and pianist Daniel Barenboim and the Palestinian literary scholar Edward Said, based on the idea that music can be a bridge.

Speaking of which, last year the film "The Voice of Hind Rajab" won the Silver Lion at the Venice International Film Festival and was nominated for an Oscar this year. Michael Moore's film "Fahrenheit 9/11," a scathing critique of George W. Bush's Iraq War, won the Palme d'Or at the Cannes Film Festival, but didn't even come close to an Oscar.

Incidentally, Hind Rajab was a real-life 5-year-old Palestinian girl who died after being shot 355 times by Israeli soldiers simply for saying, "Help me, I'm scared."

It's impossible not to feel the disparity in the value of life.

Ukraine, Palestine, Iran, Lebanon, Cuba.
