RE: CHPM: One glimpse behind the curtain

I have only skimmed this, but these two statements stood out:
The Russians developed the PBS payment system, tying the ruble to the energy resources at their disposal,
The Vatican is proposing to Moscow to transform the IOR Bank into an external, secure gateway for Russia’s cross-border transactions with conservative Europe in exchange for security guarantees for its flock.
Do these not make it seem as if Russia is making nice with the bad guys?

No, @owasco. You shouldn’t take your conclusions just from ‘skimming’…
Proposal is not a deal. Russia would always talk with anyone who comes with some proposal. Deals are done only if they are in the interest of Russian people.
What you find wrong with it? U.S. had petro-dollar because dollar lost its gold background, and needed something to make it more than a piece of paper.
Now Russia has petro-ruble. That is actually very sensible move.
That does sound sensible, a movement away from USD valuation. The system is parallel in function to what we have here in the US, and the people are getting effed by this system every bit as much as everyone else in the world. Government control of the money supply is still government control. He seems to be following the same playbook, which is not a good look to my eyes. I still suspect he is a player.
I would be interested in hearing his words. Which of those links is best for hearing him speak well. Don't forget about how great Obama could make things sound.
He is extremely reasonable man, whatever you chose is good. My favourite is that statement: ‘Your vampire ball is over’ 🙂
Obama was a liar, and still is a liar. It is very easy to check that Putin keep his every word. Ever. The West just do not want to listen to him, and is manipulating by taking his words out of context. That is why it is very important to listen him directly and not read MSM reports on his statements.
I agree but… The problem of the USA is even worse. U.S. Administration does NOT have a control of the money supply. FED is not a government agency but a private banking consortium.
Until Bitcoin, you only could chose between bad (government) and worse (banks)…
That does not mean Russia is following the same playbook, because its money is not under the control of financial plutocracy. With BRICS it is even more clear that Putin is NOT what you think of him. Quite the opposite…
