The Mainstream News Media Is No Friend Of Yours

At school I really enjoyed media studies. It was actually a relatively new subject to study back in the 1990's, but I really got on with it and found it both fascinating and inspiring at the same time.

As media studies students we had to explore all sorts of areas within the media landscape. Obviously the news media was one of the key focal areas. Back then the news was presented to us as this powerful and almighty bastion of free speech and free expression. Having a developed media ecosystem was the hallmark of a civilised society.

So I grew up with this very instilled notion that the news media was a positive force for our society and played a vital role in our democracy. I even flirted with the idea once of becoming a reporter for television news such was my admiration for the industry.

I dare say perhaps at one point in the history of the news media there were some people who had a noble goal of exposing corruption and wrongdoing while bringing us news about events locally and internationally. But roll on a decade later and I'm starting to see things quite differently. Give it another ten years and my once childhood respect for the mainstream news media has evaporated and has been replaced by pure unadulterated disgust and anger.

As the graphic above expressly states the mainstream media is not to be trusted. It is to be constantly questioned, always challenged and if possible mostly ignored. There can be little doubt amongst the independent thinking of us that the modern day media is an industry predicated on lies, deception and a determination to divide us all. The media does not just simply report, it has a deep and hidden globalist UN agenda.

The media plays its unique part in the destruction of our society. That's in addition to the very effective way it makes us feel guilty, hate ourselves, depress us and make us angry.

To think that as a child, and even into my twenties, I considered becoming a part of this menace makes me shudder but at least I did eventually learn the true nature of the mainstream media. It is not to inform and expose, it is not to empower us with information that positively advances the human race, far from it. The media is probably the most powerful tool the globalist elites have at their disposal.

You must be curious, surely at the very least you can do that. Stay curious, nothing is ever what it appears to be especially when it comes to the mainstream news media.

Peace!

Yes, if someone is studying the mind of a murder, you learn about the tools and methods of their skill. If someone is studying the mind of a propagandist, you observe their work and study their methods of manipulation.

I remember when in High-School back in the '90's, every classroom got free televisions installed - all they had to do was broadcast a 20 minute news segment called "Channel One" with advertisements every morning. Absolute propaganda displayed to a young CAPTIVE audience.

Some first period teachers were kind enough to spare their students the programming, but others very happily obliged.

I remember a young Anderson Cooper and Lisa Ling doing the broadcasts for "Channel One". Fascinating that they both transitioned right into CNN, once an entire generation was pre-programmed to watch at least 20 minutes of "news" every morning. Oh and the familiar faces and voices as a "most trusted name in news."

I believe this was intentional indoctrination and programming. An schools happily went along to get thousands of dollars worth of FREE tv's.

Yes, I often believe that so much of the groundwork for the misery we are witnessing in the world today was laid in the 80's and 90's. Of course the real rot started to set in soon after World War II but I'll leave that discussion for another day.

Electronic News Gathering gained massive momentum in the 90's and the mission, as you and I can both personally testify to, was indoctrination. The broadcasting news sector is an incredibly powerful beast, and what do kids like lots of when they are growing up? Exactly, they like nothing better than being glued to a screen. Although these days they have more screens to choose from, and therefore more ways to be indoctrinated.

It comes as no surprise your teachers wanted you and your classmates to routinely watch broadcasting news. It comes as even less of a surprise that some of the faces you watched back then are now hardened globalist commies working for CNN.

The whole propaganda and indoctrination endeavour is vast, intelligent and very persuasive on many peoples' minds.

The one thing we didn't have was the bribe of our schools being supplied televisions in return for getting kids to watch globalist propaganda. The state happily wanted as many televisions in our classrooms as possible and were happy to provide them.

Also today, most of the news and information are spreading through social media.
So news channels - both online and on TV - have to compete with socials. And you know, grabbing attention means clickbaiting and distorting. Even new channel that should always be neutral and ongoing eventually die without an audience

Yup, social media is the latest update to their reach. The tentacles of the msm spread far and wide, social media being even more potent in many ways than television.

Sure there is competition between news outlets, broadcasters and social media platforms but don't forget virtually all news outlets and broadcasters now have a social media presence, further increasing their ability to spread their toxic content.
