Lady Justice wouldn't do anything to harm ordinary folk. The courts are there to make sure of it. They are not in most cases merely courts of revenue to grab as much money as they can from citizens, that would be absurd. Legal robbery? They wouldn't be able to get away with it.

The problem with the American judiciary is that it is politically constituted and susceptible to politics more than the British judiciary, so you guys have another layer of bias to deal with. The law is supposed to be applied equally but if you appoint judges based on political preference then any time a judgement is handed down in the States the first thing you have to ask is was that a Republican or Democrat judge's decision? Then you get more of the context.
He is definitely a leftoid, no doubt about that, but he also has the questions to ask to get out of jail free.
I've used his methods in court twice, one was a draw and the other was a win.
The draw went from 20 year felonies to a no fine and no time misdemeanor.
It took 2 years of hearings, but I'm calling it a draw.
Had I got a lawyer, I would still be in jail.
IF I had known at the start of that case what I knew 2 years later I would have likely won it, too.
The laws are the same in most countries.
