The US Treasury Department revoked a waiver that allowed the sale of Iranian oil in response to attacks on tankers in the Strait of Hormuz, jeopardizing an interim peace deal between Washington and Tehran.
The decision came after three ships were attacked in the waterway, apparently by Iran. Tehran has repeatedly said it won’t allow vessels to transit the waterway without its permission.

Trump Renews Push to Take Over Greenland

…Donald Trump on Tuesday resurrected his push for the U.S. to acquire Greenland, and suggested the U.S. could pull all of its armed services members out of Europe in response to the continent’s continued pushback on the issue.

As with other rapists, Trump doesn’t understand that no means no.

Netanyahu Asks Trump to Deny Turkey F-35s

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu publicly asked President Trump Monday not to send advanced F-35 fighter jets to Turkey, warning the shipment would ‘upset the power balance’ in the region.

Just a guess, but Trump’s probably in no mood to do Bibi any favors right now.

Justice Department Threatens Top Election Officials

The Justice Department sent letters to at least 10 states on Tuesday threatening criminal prosecution of top election officials if ballots cast by noncitizens were counted in upcoming elections.
The letters arrived in the midst of an ongoing campaign by President Trump and his allies to tighten election rules to prevent a problem that doesn’t exist: widespread noncitizen voting in American elections.

Trump has run out of cards to play in the midterm elections, which is why he’s now talking about the ‘communist menace.’
He can’t talk about the economy because prices continue to rise faster than wages, which means most Americans are getting poorer. He can’t talk about foreign policy because his war in Iran has been a debacle, his tariffs an utter failure, and he obviously hasn’t settled the war in Ukraine on ‘day one’. He can’t talk about immigration because his raids and mass deportations have become so unpopular.
So, facing the midterm elections, what’s left?
