Elections through PR in the eyes of the common people of Bangladesh
The people of Bangladesh have never known about PR before. Those who are taking to the field with this claim, as you see on various social media platforms, the people of Bangladesh have understood how much they themselves know about this PR. Our respected leader Salauddin Sahab says, what does PR mean? Public relationship. That’s what we are doing, going to the people, engaging in public outreach, visiting every household. The people of Bangladesh are eagerly awaiting to exercise their voting rights through this ballot.
We hope that the Dr. Mohammad Yunus government will gift the nation a free, fair, and neutral election by February.
You are seeing that every government organ in Bangladesh has failed. Almost everything, including the country’s chaos, market system, law and order, and international relations, has failed.
You saw how, at the UN session that Dr. Yunus attended, the Awami League’s terrorist attack took place. If this had been an elected government, such an incident probably would not have happened.
The law and order situation within Bangladesh, with various terrorist activities and mob violence happening in different places, and for overall economic development, a national election is urgently needed.
If the Bangladesh Nationalist Party comes to power with the mandate of the people of Bangladesh, the first thing will be to ensure the basic rights of the people, their security, and bringing the market system within their purchasing power.
Improving the law and order situation first and addressing the issue of inflation, economic development—these things, I believe, a BNP government will prioritize first.
In fact, this is entirely Dr. Mohammad Yunus Sahab’s personal statement.
I think the people of Bangladesh, for nearly 16 years, have been victims of the oppression and torture under the fascist Hasina’s mill. Hasina’s downfall happened on August 5 through the student-people’s movement.
The people of Bangladesh no longer want to see this Awami League in the politics of Bangladesh.
We hope that if Dr. Mohammad Yunus has made this political statement, he will retract it. He will respect the emotions and sentiments of the people of Bangladesh and bring the Awami League to justice swiftly.
