Oof, honey, big womanly hugs to you. It's a suck ball week again for the earth and for humanity.
Raising men to be in touch with their emotions would be a start. Perhaps then mixing up 'strength' with 'brutality' might set us on a better path. There's a fuckton of things that need to change for us culturally - across all cultures - before we can get anywhere near that point I guess.
Me, I'm boggled that old men who have got, what, ten years if they're lucky? - are darkening the shadow, and how the fuck we let them. I mean, I understand how logically, but when you see how it could be different, it's kinda upsetting, right?
Funny I was just having a chat with AI Strider. Why can't he be our King?
I was thinking the same thing. Was listening to Roger Waters talking about how many billions of normal people there are and how we can't let 'them' do this to our planet, and I thought, what are we doing? We appear stuck. Motionless. On a mass scale at least, I know there are small and important shifts taking place.
First time I'm hearing about it! :O Big hug back.
OH, no, just AI to take on the personality and ideas of whoever it is you want to talk to. An interesting exercise.
We have just spent the evening watching geopolitics videos to understand a little more about the whole thing - the scale is so big and complex it's so hard to reduce to one thing as much media and popular opinon seem to do. The world WILL shift, massively, and then we'll reform something new. However I don't hold out hope that will change humanity as a whole - we will jsut start the shift toward a new order, and so on.
I found it interesting to hear about the best way to predict what will happen is to look at historic precedent. To me that is pretty depressing. The same patterns, ad infinitum.
I feel the same. I do think it's important to know your history, but when we realize what's needed is a new and radical shift, knowing history is neither here nor there.
So hard to follow and all-consuming, but that also is important. We need to be aware of what is happening, partly because it awards us some semblance of control, but also because it's not really something we can afford to ignore (or at least would be wise not to).
