How the mighty Empire has fallen hey? I agree, it's shameful. I feel sorry for old England, a place that no longer exists. It seems it's slid down hill even in the last twenty years so it's barely recognisable. I used to be ashamed of the Aussie parliament in comparison to yours but Jesus it's got even worse! I agree with the lack of professionalism here with the NZ women. That's embarrassing. And wtf... Why do they have phones? Imagine if back in the day you set up your computer in parliament and dialled in your modem.

I really get the feeling they're all just hiding behind bureaucracy, a power given to them that obfuscates, adds infinite twists and turns towards the end goal of accountability, so they can just sit around and do nothing all day until they find a quick opportunity to be outraged by something ideological. Both sides seem guilty of this.
Most apparently haven't even worked a day in their lives in actual proper vocations or careers. They seem to just fail upwards perpetually.
The one silver lining is that the non-establishment parties - Green on the left, Reform on the right - seem well on their way to destroying the established parties. Both parties are somewhat clownish and will likely be even more destructive, but also on way shakier footing so they can be booted far more easily than those which have been there for centuries. A real shake-up is happening.
